Music Meets Jiu Jitsu: Popular Mc's Stop by Terere Kids Project

The singer and actor Victor Hugo Nascimento, known as Mc Cabelinho, is the newest jiu-jitsu practitioner of the Tererê Kids Project.

The funky legend was born and raised in the Cantagalo Favela, so naturally he came in contact with jiu-jitsu. During quarantine he has been training with Jhonathan "Moicano" Marques, Alexandre "Buda" Ribeiro, and Natan Cheung (another athlete we adoped from Cicero Costha's during quarantine).

On Instagram MC Cabelinho has over 1.9 million followers and now he's gaining more among the jiu jitsu community. The 23 year old is well known in the middle of funk, “Zona Sul”, "Sou da Favela" and "Favela Venceu", hits that have climbed their way on the AppleMusic charts.

When he's not working, he's spending his time on the mats with the kids the the community he's from.
