Terere Kids Sends Over 30 Kids to IBJJF Sul Americano

This weekend, August 21st and 22nd, IBJJF will host the 2nd biggest kid’s competition in Brazil.

For those who accompany us, you know that we are a social project that provides free jiu-jitsu classes in the Pavão, Pavãozinho and Cantagalo community for over 20 years. We work with children in a situation of social vulnerability and their families who often lack the support they need.

Our mission is to promote education and culture through jiu jitsu, and we have already trained athletes like Jhonathan Marques and Larah Bandeira, who have traveled all over the world competing and today fight professionally at a high level.

Recently we fundraised to register 25 children in the largest children's jiu jitsu competition in Rio, IBJJ Kid’s South American Championship.

The championship will take place on August 20th and 21st and we’re so excited to be able to take so many young athletes with dreams of being World Champion to compete in a major competition!

We want to thank everyone that has contributed to this campaign through our GoFundMe or by supporting the project on a monthly basis through our Patreon!

Together we are stronger!

The kids worked really hard for Brazilian Nationals in May and they trained even harder for Sulamericano!
